Health Education & Navigation

Located within the Lee Health Coconut Point facility, this Healthy Life Center offers a variety of services and education to support healthy lifestyles, early detection of disease, and chronic disease management.

This facility includes a teaching kitchen, multiple education spaces, holistic treatment rooms, a teaching garden, and a yoga and meditation studio.

Partner with our team to navigate health services, including scheduling assistance with Lee Physician Group or an outpatient service such as rehabilitation or testing. We are proud to be a resource for all your health and wellness needs.

We’re only 5 miles from I-75 and Miromar Outlets. Take Exit 123 west on Corkscrew Road/CR-850. At Via Coconut Point, turn left (south) and in 2.5 miles turn right (west) into the Lee Health Coconut Point parking lot.

Parking & Transportation

Parking is easy at Lee Health Coconut Point. Patients and visitors can park for free right outside the front entrance and across our campus.

The Healthy Life Center Coconut Point provides free health and wellness education and resources to our entire community. “We bring a doctors, health professionals, other experts in their field to educate our community, help inspire them to make healthy choices. Ultimately, help them age with grace, and stay healthy at home,” said Carrie Bloemers, the Director of the Healthy Life Center Coconut Point.

Those experts teach a variety of classes. “We offer classes about chronic disease management, maybe diabetes, or taking care of your heart. We offer rehabilitation, Parkinson’s, balance, or specific disease conditions. We also look at lifestyle pieces how to eat better how to get better sleep,” said Bloemers.

The facility features a teaching kitchen lead by a certified dietitian. “Sometimes you might watch a demo with her, but other times it’ll be hands-on where you get to cook in class, and then eat the recipes you’re making, and bond with the class,” said Bloemers.

We offer screenings for things like memory, hearing, and balance. “The first step in making a change is sometimes awareness that there is an issue or a problem we need to address.” There are holistic treatment rooms for massage, acupuncture, and yoga. Navigators are also on staff. “We can help you find what you need when it comes to health care services,” said Bloemers.
